On the night of December 14, 2024, 18-year-old Jestin James Ware II was fatally shot in a drive-by shooting in Shreveport, Louisiana. The incident occurred just before 11:00 p.m. in the 100 block of Pierremont Road, where a large party was taking place at a vacant residence. An unidentified vehicle drove past the house, and an occupant fired multiple shots into the crowd. Ware was struck and transported to Ochsner LSU Health hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 11:29 p.m.
