On November 16, 2023, Jessie T. Ashley, a 24-year-old resident of Shreveport, Louisiana, tragically lost his life in a double homicide. The incident occurred in the 7800 block of Jewella Avenue, Shreveport, where police responded to reports of a shooting around 7 p.m.
