Zacorian Corey Hinton, a 20-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on January 3, 2021, in Shreveport, Louisiana. The incident occurred during a shootout between two groups of men in the Sunset Acres neighborhood. The shootout took place in front of a business located in the 6900 block of Jewella Avenue around 3:30 a.m. Hinton was struck by gunfire and was subsequently taken to Ochsner LSU Health Shreveport, where he later succumbed to his injuries.
