Leah Buller, a 79-year-old White female, was discovered late on the morning of June 12, 2025, inside her Baton Rouge home on Boone Drive near Staring Lane. A family member arrived around 10:30 a.m. and found Leah and her husband, Donald Buller, both suffering from gunshot wounds. Deputies from the East Baton Rouge Parish Sheriff’s Office responded, and the quiet residential street quickly filled with squad cars and the muted routine of crime-scene work on a hot Louisiana day.
