In the early moments of May 19, 2025, the quiet of a Fort Washington, Maryland neighborhood was shattered by the sound of gunfire. When Prince George's police officers arrived at the 2800 block of Wood Hollow Terrace around 12:20 a.m., they found 21-year-old Cornelius Wilson of Glenarden outside, suffering from gunshot wounds. The investigation into Cornelius Wilson's death quickly focused on a suspect known to him.
