In the early morning hours of a spring day in Fort Washington, Maryland, the life of Matthew Cedric Bovell, a 25-year-old male, was cut short. On Saturday, April 7, 2012, at approximately 7 a.m., officers from the Prince George's County Police Department responded to a call in the 7300 block of Webster Turn. There, in the driveway of a residence, they discovered Bovell suffering from a gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
