In the early morning hours of December 19, 2025, a violent incident unfolded in the residential neighborhood of Fort Washington, Maryland. Prince George's County Police officers were dispatched to the 6700 block of Botetourt Drive around 12:15 a.m. following reports of a shooting. Upon their arrival, law enforcement discovered a victim suffering from a critical gunshot wound outside of a residence.
