On a Sunday morning in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, tragedy struck a quiet neighborhood. It was August 24, 2025, when 19-year-old D'Anthony Brown was sitting on a porch on Belhaven Trace Drive with another person. The late morning peace was shattered at approximately 10:18 a.m. by the sound of gunfire. An unnamed suspect opened fire, striking Brown.
