On October 21, 2013, Shelby Holmes, aged 38, was shot multiple times while walking home in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. He later succumbed to his injuries at Our Lady of the Lake Hospital. Holmes was well-known in the community as the assistant box office manager for the Baton Rouge River Center. His death remains unsolved, and Baton Rouge detectives have requested help from the public in providing information that could lead to solving the case.
