In the late hours of a Saturday night in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, the life of 26-year-old DaJourn Holmes, a male resident of the city, was tragically cut short. On October 14, 2017, Holmes was driving his vehicle when he was struck by multiple gunshots. The assault caused him to lose control of his car, which then crashed into a light pole in the 1700 block of Plank Road around 11:24 p.m. When emergency services arrived, Holmes was pronounced dead at the scene.
