Late on September 4, 2025, police were called to the USA Travel Plaza at 2500 West Alabama Avenue in Ruston, Louisiana, where they found Ontario Spivey, 35, a male from Ruston, fatally shot. Officers responded around 11:50 p.m., secured the scene, and began processing evidence as the death of Ontario Spivey, 35, was confirmed at the location.
