Zelanz R. French, a 23-year-old African American male from Shreveport, Louisiana, tragically lost his life on October 16, 2021, during a shooting incident at Grambling State University's homecoming festivities. The shooting occurred around 1:15 a.m. in the quad area of the university campus.
