On July 11, 2019, 24-year-old Tyrea Davis, a male from Ruston, Louisiana, was tragically shot and killed. The incident occurred at approximately 10:36 a.m. in the 600 block of Martin Luther King Avenue. Upon arrival, officers from the Ruston Police Department's Uniform Patrol Division found Tyrea Davis suffering from at least one gunshot wound.
