On December 25, 2022, Germil Rhone, a 30-year-old African American male from Ruston, Louisiana, was tragically killed in a shooting incident at a Waffle House on Farmerville Highway. The incident occurred around 3 AM during an altercation at the restaurant. The parties involved in the altercation left the scene before the police arrived.
