In the winter of 2024, a life was tragically cut short in Ruston, Louisiana. Charvaz Crawford, a 23-year-old African American man, was fatally shot on the afternoon of Thursday, December 26th. The incident unfolded around 1:30 p.m. at the Cinnamon Square Apartments located off South Farmerville Street, where police were dispatched following reports of gunfire.
