Tyrell Edwards, an 18-year-old African American male, was tragically shot and killed on August 28, 2022, at the Cinnamon Square Apartments in Ruston, Louisiana. The incident occurred early Sunday morning, and Edwards was transported to Northern Louisiana Medical Center by residents before the police arrived at the scene.
