Jeffery Omar Owens, a 57-year-old African American male, was tragically killed on October 14, 2020, in Ruston, Louisiana. The incident occurred in the 100 block of Barker Drive, where the Lincoln Parish Sheriff’s Office responded to a shooting at approximately 9:16 PM. Upon arrival, deputies found Owens deceased in the roadway.
