On the evening of May 26, 2025, the life of 23-year-old Rodney L. Beeler III, a Black male, was cut short by violence inside an apartment in his hometown of Indianapolis, Indiana. Police were called to the 7 Pointe Apartments in the 4700 block of Round Lake Drive a little after 6 p.m. following a report of a person shot. Upon arrival, officers found Beeler with gunshot wounds.
