Kayvon Dunbar, a 15-year-old male, was shot late on the night of August 25, 2025, in the 400 block of 11th Avenue East in Bradenton, Florida. Police were called around 11:30 p.m. and found him with a fatal gunshot wound; he did not survive. The following morning, the Bradenton Police Department publicly identified him as the victim and asked the community for information as detectives worked to piece together what happened.
