Lonnie Easter, a 67-year-old African American man, was tragically killed on June 5, 2021, in LaGrange, Georgia. The incident occurred in the early hours of the morning at a residence on DeGroat Street. When officers from the LaGrange Police Department arrived at the scene around 2:42 a.m., they found Lonnie Easter lying in the doorway of the home with at least one gunshot wound.
