In the early morning hours of June 5, 2021, the life of 67-year-old Lonnie Easter, an African American male, was tragically cut short in LaGrange, Georgia. Officers from the LaGrange Police Department responded to a call at a residence on DeGroat Street at approximately 2:42 a.m. Upon their arrival, they discovered Mr. Easter lying in the doorway of the home, having sustained at least one gunshot wound.
