Death by Force

On June 15, 2025, 30-year-old Davelle Osby was shot during a large street gathering in the 300 block of West Garfield Avenue in Elkhart, Indiana. Police said officers were dispatched at about 1:10–1:11 a.m. after multiple 911 calls reported gunfire near West Garfield and Benham, and twelve people were ultimately transported or arrived at area hospitals with gunshot wounds; Davelle Osby was pronounced dead at the hospital.
