Death by Force

Kowanda Glenn, a 50-year-old Black/African American woman, was found shot to death alongside her 20-year-old son, Mikhail Glenn, inside their home in Covington, Georgia, in the early hours of July 17, 2025. Deputies with the Newton County Sheriff’s Office were called to the Oak Meadows address shortly after midnight and discovered both victims inside the residence. The scene was quickly identified by investigators as a domestic-related double homicide.
