On a tragic evening in Covington, Georgia, 27-year-old LaPeachah Nash, an African American woman, was fatally wounded in a shooting that stemmed from a domestic dispute. The incident unfolded on May 13, 2020, at the Fieldcrest Apartment Complex. Nash had driven Deshawn Grayson to the apartment of Dalanna Bailey, the mother of Grayson's child, to provide money for their one-year-old.
