In a tragic turn of events on a Wednesday evening in Covington, Georgia, 63-year-old Carol Denise Holder lost her life in her own home. On November 18, 2020, an argument with her husband escalated, resulting in her being fatally shot. Police were called to the Cook Street residence around 10:40 p.m. with a report of a woman being shot by her husband.
