On a Tuesday afternoon, the life of 26-year-old Victor A. Lopez, a male from Indianapolis, was tragically cut short. On September 30, 2025, police were called to the 1300 block of North Concord Street just after 1:30 p.m. following reports of a shooting. Arriving at the scene, near West 16th Street and North Tibbs Avenue, officers discovered Lopez in the backyard of a residence, suffering from gunshot wounds.
