In the quiet pre-dawn of June 8, 2025, Willie Huey Smith Jr., 41, a male from the Mobile/Prichard area, was found lying beside his vehicle on First Avenue in Prichard. According to authorities, Mobile County Sheriff’s Office deputies and Prichard Police officers were dispatched at approximately 5:18 a.m. to the 900 block of 1st Avenue, where they located Willie Huey Smith Jr., 41, deceased in the street beside his car.
