On November 27, 2023, at approximately 7:57 p.m., officers from the Grenada Police Department responded to a shooting incident at a residence in the 700 block of South Street in Grenada, Mississippi. Upon arrival, they found 36-year-old Nicolaus Marquis Cole with gunshot wounds inside the home. Cole was initially transported to the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Grenada and subsequently airlifted to another medical facility outside Grenada County for further treatment.
