In the early morning hours of Saturday, January 13, 2024, the sound of a person screaming on North College Street in Grenada, Mississippi, prompted a 911 call. When officers from the Grenada Police Department arrived at the scene at 12:35 a.m., they discovered a male who had been shot. The victim was identified as 19-year-old Oterious Minor.
First responders with MedStat Emergency Medical Services transported Minor to the University of Mississippi Medical Center – Grenada for treatment.
