An 84-year-old man was found shot to death under four feet of debris in his Birmingham home and now authorities say they have been unable to find any of his family members.
The Jefferson County Coroner's Office today identified the elderly victim as John Howard Logan. Logan was discovered April 16 after a neighbor notified police of a foul odor coming from his home in the 1300 block of Cresthill Road.
