In the late hours of a Thursday night in Grenada County, Mississippi, the life of 38-year-old Franklin Vicks of Holcomb was tragically cut short. On May 15, 2025, a 911 call was placed at 11:19 p.m. reporting a shooting at a residence on Lincoln Road. When deputies from the Grenada County Sheriff's Office arrived at 250 Lincoln Road, they discovered Vicks unresponsive on the floor, having sustained several gunshot wounds.
