On a tragic afternoon in Dothan, Alabama, 39-year-old Brittney Alise Henderson lost her life in a sudden and senseless act of violence. On June 17, 2025, Henderson was sitting on her back porch when she was approached by her 22-year-old neighbor, Vincent Phillips. After a brief and seemingly innocuous interaction, Phillips allegedly drew a firearm and fired a single shot, fatally wounding the mother of three. One of her daughters was present at the time of the shooting.
