In the early hours of a Wednesday in February 2008, the quiet of a southwest Las Vegas neighborhood was shattered by violence. Inside his home on Forbes Field Court, near Fort Apache and Russell roads, 27-year-old Robert Turner, an African-American male, was confronted by two men with robbery on their minds. An altercation ensued, and in a moment of brutal finality, Robert was shot in the head.
