In the spring of 2017, the life of 42-year-old Jordan Taitano came to an abrupt and violent end in Las Vegas, Nevada. On the evening of April 4th, Taitano was outside a liquor store on East Twain Avenue when he was approached by a bicyclist. The rider fired two shots, striking Taitano in the chest before riding away. Taitano was rushed to Sunrise Hospital, but succumbed to his injuries less than an hour later. His death was the 50th homicide investigated in Clark County that year.
