The Birmingham Police Department is conducting a homicide investigation after officers responded to a report of a stabbing at about 10 p.m. on Friday.
Police identified the victim as John Mullins, 55, of Birmingham, whom officers found after responding to the report in the 500 block of 41st North, according to a media release. No arrests had been made as of earlier this afternoon.
