Steven Kennedy, 27, a Black male from Selma, Alabama, was found fatally shot on the night of September 4, 2025. Police were dispatched to Hinson Alley, just off the main stretch by Hickory Pit BBQ, after a call about an unresponsive person. When officers arrived, they found Steven Kennedy, 27, lying on the ground with multiple gunshot wounds to the face, back, and arms.
