On January 14, 2017, 23-year-old Nicholas Centrell Bell was found deceased in Selma, Alabama. His body was discovered around 11 a.m. in the driver's seat of a Grand Marquis parked behind a residence on Lamar Avenue, near Selma Avenue. Bell had sustained multiple gunshot wounds, including a fatal shot to the head.
The Selma Police Department initiated a homicide investigation following the discovery. In June 2017, authorities arrested two suspects in connection with Bell's death. Christ
