On March 25, 2023, five-year-old Aaron J. Tower tragically lost his life in Selma, Alabama. The incident occurred around 12:24 p.m. at Valley Creek Apartments on Dallas Avenue, where Selma Police Department officers responded to reports of a shooting. Upon arrival, they found Aaron with a life-threatening gunshot wound. He was transported to a local hospital but, despite medical efforts, succumbed to his injuries.
