A 23-year-old male of African-American ethnicity, Akilah Jahmal “Natrix Dream” DaSilva, was fatally shot in Antioch, Tennessee, on April 22, 2018. He had been inside a Waffle House restaurant, eating with his girlfriend, when a gunman opened fire. Akilah DaSilva was one of four people killed in the attack, alongside DeEbony Groves, age 21, Joe Rene Perez Jr., age 20, and Taurean Charles “T” Sanderlin, age 29.
