In the early morning hours of April 22, 2018, Akilah DaSilva, a 23-year-old African-American male, was enjoying a meal with his girlfriend at a Waffle House in Antioch, Tennessee. DaSilva, a promising student and musician known as 'Natrix Dream,' was pursuing a career in musical engineering. The ordinary scene was shattered when a gunman, 29-year-old Travis Reinking, arrived at the restaurant armed with an AR-15 rifle.
