On a Wednesday evening in Las Vegas, what began as a child's birthday celebration at a Chuck E. Cheese's restaurant ended in tragedy. In the parking lot of the establishment located at 350 N. Nellis Blvd., 26-year-old Lance Moorehead, an African-American male, was fatally shot on December 15, 2010. The incident unfolded around 9 p.m. after a dispute that is believed to have started inside the restaurant and escalated as the parties moved outdoors.
