On January 3, 1986, the body of Anna Carroll, a 68-year-old white female, was discovered in her apartment on the 1400 block of Ritner Street in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The door to her residence was found ajar on a cold winter day, and her body was located on the bedroom floor.
