On June 10, 2023, at approximately 1:18 a.m., Philadelphia police responded to reports of a shooting on the 2400 block of Welsh Road in Northeast Philadelphia. Upon arrival, officers discovered 24-year-old MyTiara Boyd, a resident of Camden, New Jersey, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Boyd was immediately transported to a local hospital, where she was pronounced dead at around 4:45 a.m.
