Layne Dorothy Spicer, a 16-year-old girl from Philadelphia, PA, tragically died on March 31, 1975. Her death was part of a series of murders involving young women in the mid-1970s, often referred to as the Tinicum Marsh Murders. Layne, along with three other young women—Mary Ann Lees, Denise Seaman, and Debra Jean Delozier—were found shot to death in the Tinicum Marsh or Schuylkill River areas.
