Dawn Boyd, a 22-year-old woman from Philadelphia, PA, tragically lost her life on September 28, 2018. She was fatally shot while shielding her infant daughter from gunfire during a quadruple shooting incident. According to police reports, Boyd was sitting outside a home on the 5100 block of Haverford Avenue when an unknown vehicle pulled up and opened fire on the group gathered in front of the residence.
