Irene McNair, a 31-year-old Black female, tragically lost her life on November 4, 2021, in Philadelphia, PA. She was one of two women who were fatally shot inside an illegal speakeasy located in a vacant building that had previously been used as a makeshift church. The incident occurred around 7:45 p.m. when a gunman fired at least seven shots from outside the property, with three bullets penetrating the partially open door.
