Chad Charles Weathers, a 5-year-old white male child from Talladega, Alabama, was tragically murdered on February 19, 1986. He was the son of 24-year-old Sherri Weathers, a deaf student at the Alabama Institute for the Deaf and Blind. Chad lived with his mother and younger brother, 4-year-old Joseph Weathers, in apartment 30 of the Sunrise Apartments in Talladega.
