On August 1, 2021, 17-year-old D'Marian Jherico Miller was fatally shot in Talladega, Alabama. Around 4:15 p.m., while walking up a driveway on Tinney Street with another individual, a vehicle approached, and at least three occupants opened fire. Miller was struck multiple times and pronounced dead at the scene; his companion was unharmed. Investigators recovered approximately 51 shell casings from the location.
