Death by Force

On April 2, 2022, at approximately 10:47 p.m., officers from the Talladega Police Department, while on patrol, heard gunshots near Avenue H in the Knoxville Homes community. Upon arrival, they discovered 14-year-old Jeremiah Ra'Shad Curry inside a vehicle on the side of the road; the vehicle had been struck multiple times by gunfire.
