In the early morning hours of July 20, 2024, in Talladega, Alabama, a violent encounter on Old Shocco Road resulted in a double shooting. Responding to the incident at approximately 2:19 a.m., Talladega Police officers discovered a man and a woman who had both sustained gunshot wounds. Both victims were transported to a local hospital for medical attention. The male victim, identified as 34-year-old Dakhari A. Wilson, Sr., succumbed to his injuries at the hospital.
