Peter Lock Martin, a 43-year-old man from Crozet, Virginia, was tragically killed in a mass shooting on February 17, 2025. The incident occurred in the parking lot of a Harris Teeter grocery store, where Martin was exiting the store when the shooter, identified as 28-year-old Justin M. Barbour, opened fire with a rifle.
