Omar T. Green, aged 33, tragically lost his life on June 17, 2019, in Richmond, Virginia. Omar was shot outside the North Avenue Food Market and Deli, located on North Avenue. Richmond Police responded to the scene just before 11 p.m. after receiving a call about a person being shot. Upon arrival, officers found Omar in the parking lot with a life-threatening gunshot wound. He was immediately transported to the hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries.
